At the end of February 2012, Casella was recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Association of Climate Change Officers (ACCO), the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) (formerly the Pew Center on Global Climate Change), and The Climate Registry (TCR) for our efforts to manage our greenhouse gas emissions.  One of 21 recipients, we are proud and delighted to be a leader in corporate committment to climate change management.  Through our innovative programs such as landfill gas to energy, hybrid and natural gas collection vehicles, and a comittment to recycling, we are making annual reductions in our greenhouse gas footprint.  To learn more about the awards here and to learn more about our corporate committment visit here.
